Ah....masks and the ubiquitous Gondolier! What fun, except for the hellacious crowds. VERY nice capture-- the closeup, the middle figure and the Palazzo in the background.

That bin is a real distraction, the over all contrast/levl/color could be improved using some software...what do you use?

I love the composition created by keeping the subject in the left third foreground of the photo and letting the right part tell us where the photo is taken. Great shot.

This one packs all the icons of Venice into one small frame! And something else too - what is that little animal with tail and arms in the air on top of the first white pillar? Did you put it there (not by climbing the pillar, but by pp ... ) ? Looks like a ... ??
