Stunner from Kingston, JamaicaNice shot! I remember they used to sell the paper ones when I was at school to collect money for World War veterans. 8 Aug 2007 5:19am Soph from Enghien, Belgiumpoppy is a great name for a flower! In belgium, and surely in France too, some people call their dog like that! Funny! I love how the flower is hiding her heart, I love the pastel tones of the background with the nice red of the poppy! Really nice composition! 8 Aug 2007 5:32am ColNed Pictures from Amersfoort, NetherlandsVery nice shot and the series is great ! 8 Aug 2007 7:19am Mingo from Sant Boi, SpainSansacional imagen de esta amapola"Papaver dubium",bonito color. I had a surprise in my garden this year..I had planted poppies last year from seed and had no success with them taking. But to my surprise one of the seeds must had made it, because I now have a poppy plant growing...can't wait till it blooms for me. I'll be taking a picture of it, of course!
