O girassol (Helianthus annuus) é uma planta anual da família das Asteraceae, de inflorescências grandes - aprox. 30 cm de diâmetro - cujo caule pode atingir até 3 m de altura, notável por "olhar" para Sol, comportamento vegetal conhecido como heliotropismo. This concludes the Kapadokya series.

Por acaso neste caso gostei mais da versão a cores. Se calhar é por já ter visto a cores e me ter influenciado, mas acho que aqui as cores da outra versão fazem toda a diferença.

Personally i prefer the vivid colors of yesterday. This flower is symbol of sun, sun is symbol of life and life is full of colors... but it's only my point of view...

Com a versão a p&b conseguiste uma outra dimensão estética que se afasta do óbvio...permitindo focar a atenção noutros pormenores como seja a delicadeza e forma das pétalas.

Very nice but I also like the color version of this one better. The bright vivid yellow against the blue just speaks to me.

I prefer the B/W one. Brings out the composition more. The topmost petals are a little burnt out IMO.

Para quem acabou de ver a versão a cores, como é o meu caso, ao ver esta fica com uma sensação de perda. Mas em preto e branco também resulta bem.
