noite de santa alegria
caminhando vai José
caminhando vai Maria.
Ambos vão para Belém
mais de noite que de dia
e chegaram a Belém
já toda a gente dormia
Buscou lume S.José
pois a noite estava fria
e ficou ao desamparo
sozinha a Virgem Maria
Quando S.José voltou
já viu a Virgem Maria
com o Deus Menino nos braços
que toda a gente alumia.
